Upcoming Drone Training Event – November 12 & 13, Saskatoon

SALT is excited to host a new Drone Training session—designed with your feedback in mind!
This year’s training will differ from previous sessions: SALT will not be providing drones to participants. Instead, we’re shifting the focus based on what Lands Departments told us they need most.

We listened.
Rather than concentrating on drone operation, this two-day program will explore how to use drone-generated data effectively.

SALT has partnered with the Cansel UAV Professional Services Team to deliver a hands-on, outcome-driven experience. Participants will gain:

• A clear understanding of Canada’s UAV regulatory framework
• Exposure to basic UAV operations
• An introduction to enterprise UAV platforms
• Insight into photogrammetry and LiDAR workflows
• A review of real-world case studies and deliverables

Whether you’re new to UAVs or looking to expand your data capabilities, this training is designed to empower Lands Departments with practical knowledge and tools.
