We hosted a Survey Basics Workshop on October 13th and 14th in Regina, providing participants with an introduction to the principles and practices of land surveying.
The workshop covered fundamental survey concepts, boundary identification, mapping considerations, and the importance of accurate land information in effective land management. Participants also had opportunities to engage in discussions and practical learning activities designed to build confidence and understanding of survey processes.
Training opportunities such as this workshop help support First Nations and land professionals in developing the technical knowledge needed to manage and steward lands effectively.
SALT would like to thank all attendees, presenters, and partners who helped make the workshop a success. We look forward to continuing to provide training opportunities that strengthen capacity and support land management professionals across Saskatchewan.
